The house was clean, comfortable and functional. It has a nice feel to it. The street was very quiet.
Some rooms on the first floor had a slanted ceiling (due to the roof), which meant that I often bumped my head when moving around.
The garden is bare. It would not take much to plant a few shubs, a proper hedge, and a few trees to make it much more welcoming and nicer. There is limited privacy due to the lack of greenery, which is a shame.
If the beds were placed differently so that to avoid bumping head against the slanted ceiling, and with a nicer garden, this property would be great.

Useful location, spacious accommodation
Bathroom / shower / lavatories need updating. Old style fittings, some loose, mould around grouting etc. Kitchen tap loose too. Guests expect modern bathrooms / showers. Expensive cleaning charge for just two tidy people. Garden bland and could be nicer. A proper A4 typed and current list or 'visitors book' of restaurant possibilities in town with recommendations from previous guests would be useful. A house being built immediately next door was fun to watch but not so good for holiday lie-ins!
