This cozy and lovingly designed guest apartment is perfect for a single person or a couple wishing to enjoy a holiday in beautiful Oberammergau. The location is excellent—close to the Old Town, shops, cafés, restaurants, the Ammer River, and hiking trails. The bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed. Highly recommended!

This is a self catering apartment. We brought groceries with us and were able to cook our own breakfast quite easily. The coffee maker made excellent coffee. We appreciate how clean and quiet the apartment was.
The apartment owner is onsite and helped us with the heat setting on a cold evening. He also will provide you with a "tourist card" that allows you to use public transportation for free as well as other benefits during your visit.
I feel like the photos didn't portray how small the apartment was. It was quite comfortable and cozy, I just didn't expect such a small space. There wasn't really anyplace comfortable to sit but we were off and seeing the sites anyway. We weren't looking for an excellent lounging space. But it's better to know ahead of time what to expect.
The parking was quite confusing. We were provided a "parking permit" for free parking in the blue zones around Oberammergau but it wasn't clear until our 2nd day that a "blue zone" is anywhere in town lined with blue stripes. We played it safe and used the Parkster app to pay 5 Euros per day for parking just around the corner from the apartment.
