The location was perfect and the property was really comfortable and easy to be in, lots of space and a good sized kitchen.
5 minutes to pop into Ambleside
It would have been helpful to have kitchen roll supplied.
Only one of the bathrooms had hand soap and I had expected that would be supplied along with a hand towel in the upstairs toilet.

short walk into Ambleside, great location
Tight car parking spaces but we parked our big car just down the road which was free on the residential street

A comfortable and spacious apartment. Having three bathrooms was really useful.
Unfortunately our allocated parking space was blocked by scaffolding. We had not been warned about this. Fortunately there were a few visitors parking spaces in the vicinity and we were able to find a space for each of the days of our stay. If the spaces had been taken we would have had to park a long way from the apartment. It is probably fortunate that our stay was during the working week and out of season. Vehicular access was very tight indeed.

The furniture is tired and needs replacing.
The carpets are in need of a good cleaning or replacing.

"Clean, cosy, comfortable and within walking distance of Ambleside, only a 9 min walk. Three bathrooms and a toilet were such a bonus for a family with grown up children and their partners."
