Die rustigheid van die plek, veral langs die kanaal, was presies wat ons nodig gehad het. Waking up and you hear the sheep's. The stillness and the most beautiful sun-set.

Skaap Kraal was an incredible stay! Myself, my wife, parents in laws and dogs stayed for 2 nights.
A beautiful getaway out of the city. The farm is a working farm with amazing grape lands and sheep. Great space to jog and ride bicycle. Just watch out for small thorns all over when walking barefoot.
The hosts Ciska and Francois are very welcoming and supplied the unit with wood, welcoming drinks, milk, sugar etc. The unit had everything you would need with a lovely big stoep, wonderful braai and we were in love with the pool to cool off.
The unit even has a washing machine and WiFi.
Would definitely come back for a relaxed stay.
The heat is something to get used to, but the unit had an aircon in one room, a water aircon in the other and a fan, therefore more than enough to fight the heat along with the pool.
Honestly, loved everything.

Friendly host who drove to show us the way to the farm. Very peaceful and safe location. Enjoyed watching the sheep come in from the veld for their feed. Lovely big cottage with a super stoep and braai. The local pecan nuts were appreciated.
