The house was very spacious for our group of 7, 4 adults and 3 children. The two bedrooms on the main level each had a king size bed which was perfect. However, they do share 1 bathroom. The steps leading upstairs are very steep so the children stayed upstairs. They had a queen bed in both of the spacious bedrooms and each room had a bathroom. We didn’t cook as we were in town for a wedding but the kitchen looked well equipped. It has a regular brew coffee pot that worked great. The house was spacious and had a nice outdoor area out back. Great chairs for sipping our morning coffee. There is a parking lot next to the house that did fill up daily but street parking was also available. The location is absolutely perfect for walking and checking out the town. I would definitely recommend this home. We had no issues during our stay that required us to contact the owner.

This was an adorable 4 bedroom historic inn that has been recently updated. Lots of room for my mom and her 4 daughters. We did have problems with not having wifi, so we were without a tv and wanted to watch a movie. The downstairs bathroom showerhead wasn't in the best shape and needs to be fixed as well as the drain being broken. But overall our stay was a good one for our weekend in Hermann.

We enjoyed your Hermann house with our 3 adult children and their spouses for a family wedding at Hermann Hills. Lovely house full of original architectural details yet comfortable like a family home should be. Great location, we enjoyed the various shops and the walk ability of the area.

The inn really is in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to anything you need and we had zero problems with our stay. I would definitely recommend staying at the inn!

My sisters, mother, and I felt treated staying in this historically registered home, beautifully decorated with all the modern conveniences and an A++ location. We arrived on Sunday and stayed until Tuesday in late March and were pleasantly surprised that many local attractions (stores, restaurants, wineries) were open on Monday and Tuesday--we didn't lack for things to do and were happy to avoid the crowds. The house is adorable! My elderly mother and sister who has a bad back appreciated the ground-level bedrooms. My other sister and I liked each having a bathroom to ourselves in the upstairs bedrooms. The living space flows easily from the living room to the dining room to the kitchen, so we were able to keep the conversation and jokes going whatever we were doing! We made a point to relax for a while in the comfortable chairs in the back yard--such a peaceful oasis! They even had a fire pit with wood, but none of us felt that adventurous. The location is FABULOUS! Right within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants by the river. And there is a city parking lot right next to the house, so you don't need to park on the street if you don't want to. I can't say enough about this place, but I will be back both with my friends and with my husband and children.

Our owner was very responsive to our needs and allowed us to have an awesome family wedding weekend. Location is perfect for spending time in Hermann. Everything was within walking distance.

This is the perfect house for a big group of couples. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. There was plenty of seating for everyone. Decor was nice and beds were comfy. It's within walking distance of the two main areas of the town. As with any old house there were a few minor things like the toilet running and creaky noises from plumbing and heating. I would also recommend the owners update the listing to feature a few more things like the type of coffee maker and the checkin checkout process. I did email the owners before the trip through VrBo and never got a reply. But thankfully we did not need to contact them during our stay. Great place and we will return!

Great house, very well appointed. Plenty of living room seating as well as outdoor. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, necessities. Walkable to anywhere in town. Easy communication with owner and looking forward to booking again next year.

Complimentary bottle of wine. We loved that! Very well decorated, spacious, updated, and clean, older (historic :) house with older house charm and quirks. The house was a bit cold on arrival, 57 F. So it wasn't the most comfortable that day/night, that said however, we had just come from waking up to frozen water pipes that morning at our own house and our furnace being out, so it was 44F that morning in our home :/, 57F not so bad then, all a matter of perception. :) Anyway, we had difficulty figuring out the rental house thermostats, so more detailed instructions on those would be helpful. Sometime during the night we got them to reset and they seemed to work fine after that, the house warmed up. One of the upstairs bathrooms had no water the first day and night and part of second day, maybe due also to the cold. And one of the electric breakers tripped while we were there but we didnt have access to the breaker box to check it or reset it. My husband works for an electric company, so we could have easily done that. An electrician came next morning and reset the breaker. Everything worked fine after that. All in all it is a very cute place, very clean with plenty of nice linens to use. The owner is very attentive and helpful with resolving any issues as promptly as possible. It was perfectly sized for our group of 6 (but it would accommodate 4 couples easily) says it sleeps 10 people, but that is with some on rollouts), for our group everyone (2 couples and 2 single girls) got their own bedroom and 2 people per bathroom worked well. We would rent it again. Just keep in mind that it is an older house with older house charm and quirks. :) Hermann is a beautiful town with friendly down-to-earth people, and a great place to visit, maybe better when it's a little warmer though.
