Die Bambushütten, die Lage und vor allem der Ausblick ist der Knaller. Bislang die weitaus coolste Unterkunft in Ruanda. Das gesamte Ensemble und auch das Restaurant (mit gutem Frühstück und Essensangebot) sind sehr geschmackvoll hergerichtet. Auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung; vor allem die Hütte mit den beiden Einzelbetten ist super gelegen. Noch dazu ein sehr freundliches Personal. Und saubere Duschen mit warmem Wasser. Moskitonetze vorhanden.
Eines der Betten war irgendwie etwas "schief". Man sackte etwas ab; ich konnte trotzdem sehr gut schlafen.

We enjoyed the 2.5km hike from the Karongi bus station to this Eco-Lodge and were delighted to be greeted by friendly staff, cold beer and fabulous views. There are only four rooms at this eco-lodge, so there's plenty of privacy, peace and quiet. We loved our stay here. We recommend the half-day boat trip out to Napoleon Island. The wifi worked well.
Food service was a bit slow, but this is Africa.

Ubytovanie bolo situované v peknej lokalite, záhrada bola super.
Ubytovanie bolo špinavé - na postele boli mŕtve chrobáky, z mosquitieri padali veľké kusy prachu. Človek cítil, že spí v špine. Z hotela nám ponúkli výlet loďou na ostrovy jazera Kivu - oklamali nás však ohľadom ceny, dali nám zaplatiť 3 násobne vyššiu cenu, akú nám ponúkali ďalší sprievodcovia v prístave

Humidité dans la chambre qui se ressent dans les draps et les vêtements que l’on laisse quelques heures .

Beautiful location! It was very nice having an individual little cabin so it felt very private and cosy.
Very far from the town so need a moto to get anywhere

Really beautiful view and nice staff.
Breakfast was a little poor but okay! Didn't have a chance to have dinner.
Was given a different room on arrival than the one chosen.

The location is great and calm. It is a small place so doesn't get crowded or loud. Food is good and staff is flexible and understanding.

My room was far from the wifi and it didn't usually work. I was offered to take the router to my room, though, which was kind of them.

Staff is really good, the lodge with awesome good natural materials, and the view is so wonderful.
The internal restaurant food is good and well prepared.

The wifi, the facilities, the view, the whole area was AMAZING! The food was also really good, great dinner menu as well! And the host was super lovely, although didn’t know heaps of English, you made it work.
I booked the tent - but it was the middle of the rainy season - so it got flooded… but they moved me into one of the cabins for no extra cost, and the service from that was AMAZING!

The accommodation is located less than 1 km from the asphalt road and approximately the same distance to the lake, the shop and the café. It has only 3 eco cabins, shared toilets and showers. Nicely maintained garden, beautiful views, very helpful and friendly staff and very good cuisine. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. It's a very nice place, I can only highly recommend it.

Nice peoples but no shower working, no wifi and owner tried to not offer us a breakfast which was included and we didn’t like it 😬

Beautiful place with the most amazing view on lake Kivu. It is green, calm, has everything you need and the staff is super friendly.

This is the best place to stay in Kibuye. The prices are so good and the views are amazing. The best part is the staff, they’ll make your stay here smooth, help you with everything and are the nicest people ever. The location was also perfect and near the lake Kivu.
