Lovely cottage, plenty of room and only 10 minute walk to the castle.

Great location for visiting Alnwick and touring the surrounding region. Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens are both within walking distance, as is the town itself which has a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
The property itself is a bit drab and could do with a bit of redecoration to brighten the rooms up. On our visit (June 2023), the displayed gas safety check certificate was nearly 18 months out of date, and the electric iron was seen to have failed an electrical safety test in February 2023.
