We are now home after staying in the spa lodge. The lodge was fully equipped with everything we required, although the oven was dreadful and we ended up having to use the stove to heat meals. The sauna / steam room and hot tub were a real treat. It was a very relaxing week, very peaceful with beautiful scenery. We also booked a slot to use the swimming pool which was lovely and warm. Lots of local attractions to visit. Grant's patisserie in Corbridge is definitely worth a visit. We charged the car at the Tesco in Hexham as nothing on site.
