We enjoyed our stay! The home was spacious and we loved the view of the water! The refrigerator temperature was not very cold so we used our cooler as a backup. Later saw that an additional refrigerator was on the porch. Nice stay overall!

I stayed here with 3 girlfriends for a weekend getaway and we loved it! The home is spacious, the kitchen has everything you need, the WiFi worked great, and the hot tub was amazing. The home is also very clean and there were plenty of towels for everyone, which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay for Thanksgiving with our family and and friends. The house was perfect for the 8 of us and could’ve even accommodated a few more folks if needed. The location and the home with all of its amenities was perfect.

What a great place to bring the family together!...something for everyone. Everything was in perfect working order. The screened porch on the dock was the biggest hit. We fished (caught a couple nice ones), canoed and kayak'ed and spent time around the fire-pit every night. Definitely on our return list.

We absolutely loved our girls getaway weekend at Secluded Serenity. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything needed. We enjoyed the large deck and beautiful views from the living room windows. The hot tub was amazing. We didn't use the game room, but it looked like lots of fun!
Easy check in and check out- great communication!
The only complaint is that the electrical outlets were not working in the lower level bathroom. Other than that - perfection!

Cons: The dishwasher was broken while we were there and we had to spend over 2 hours washing dishes which isn’t really someone wants to do on a vacation with small children. The customer service to fix the issue was terrible. The garbage disposal was broken, the fridge was dirty with meat juice all over it and there was no cleaning supplies to clean it up. The bathrooms downstairs smell kind of like sewage and you can hear crickets in one of the bathroom drains. They had no firewood or matches for the fire pit and the pit itself wasn’t great for fire. The chairs upstairs on the porch broke when we sat on them and they have an ant problem. The house is north facing so you don’t really get the sunset.
Pros: gorgeous view and beds were comfortable. Lots of games and good for kids.

This place is amazing. As soon as we walked in the views were beautiful. We all had so much fun Fom kayaking, renting a jet ski, jumping off the dock and swimming in the lake. Floating on rafts all day. The game room was a huge hit and the karoke machine was great! The kitchen was amazing and has everything imaginable. We took a day and went tothe Metro Richmond Zoo. It was super nice. Also if you get a chance get some ice cream at Moo Thru. This place was definitely worth going to and we will be going back next year. The weather was perfect every day as well.This is the place to be!

The property was very nice. Easy access to the water and use of the kayaks.
The outside deck was in rough shape.
Sleeping accommodations were great for everyone.
There were issues that were not addressed even after a call to Vacasa.
One handle on the refrigerator was missing as well as the seal around the door. A check with a digital thermometer showed the temperature fluctuated and did not remain cold enough for food safety. We were able to use the porch fridge fortunately.
Also, the garbage disposal did not work.
There were a few minor things also such as the garbage can was missing the foot peddle.
If these issues were fixed, we would consider staying there again.

My family and I had such a great quiet stay here! The listing is exactly as described. Very private, secluded, quiet and fun! My husband and I enjoyed ourselves on the lake in the kayaks. We had an overall great stay!

Our family (age ranges 4-70) stayed at this lovely property for our yearly week vacation. We usually vacation at beach locations but wanted something different this year. We were NOT disappointed. Lots to do for outdoorsman and also wonderful to reset and relax. Direct lake front with boat ramp was a huge plus! We rented kayaks from a local company (lake Anna outfitters) and had a blast. House was clean, well stocked, lots of amenities. The owners were wonderful to communicate with as well! Beautiful sunsets every night, super quiet and secluded location. Highly recommend this property!

You will not be disappointed. This home has a lot to offer for any age. Large fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, fantastic game room, hot tub, nice deep water boat ramp and quiet little cove. Our family would love to return to this home again!

This is a great house with incredible amenities to be entertained. The dock is a great spot for incredible views and quiet morning coffee. The only area of concern is the kitchen equipment. Pots, pans, knives, can openers, and grater are junk and need to be replaced. Trying to cook with what's in the house is frustrating, if not virtually impossible for a good meal. Besides that though, I highly recommend it. It's a great house, with great views and amenities and the owners whom we communicated with are very reasonable and kind. Looking forward to another booking!

We stayed here for a quiet weekend with the family. It had everything you could need for the family, games and play space for the kids. Separate space for adults. Great outdoor area with dock, hot tub and relaxing seating. All rooms have their own bathroom. Scott was great at communication, reaching out to make sure we could get in and out seamlessly and was very flexible. Will definitely stay here again!

This property had everything we could’ve asked for: great house, games for the kids (and adults), hot tub, fire pit for s'mores at night, dock for fishing, it goes on and on.
Communication with the owner, Scott, was amazing. He answered questions quickly when we had them and he did things that were above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely love to return!

A few friends and I went in February for a relaxing girls' weekend and got just that. Great house, easy check-in, lots of amenities, beautiful view, and the host was very responsive. Would definitely come back any time of the year!

The owner/host was very communicative and kind. Everything was seamless from start to finish. We all loved the house, especially the bonus features like the fireplace and hot tub. We went in the winter, and even then, the view was beautiful; we will definitely stay here again!

The house was great, clean and exactly as pictured. I was expecting it to be better stocked because of previous reviews, but the owners are selling, so I guess that's why levels were so low (no dish soap or paper towels and some bathrooms had no hand soaps or TP). Our kids loved splashing in the shallow water, which was perfect temperature. We also rented a boat for the weekend, and Scott provided recommendations, which was helpful.

The house was perfect for a week long family vacation! There was plenty of things to do at the house between the hot tub, swimming, playing pool, or just enjoying some relaxation on the hammock. Close enough to other parts of the lake to go boating on the public side or to the state park beach. The owners were wonderful and super quick getting back to us with any questions or concerns. The house was clean and had more than enough space for 4 adults, 3 teens and 3 kiddos!

The house is beautiful and has a very relaxing view. There is plenty of things to do. The dock is perfect for relaxing. The mini fridge in the screened in room on the dock make your days easy to get drinks and lunch without running up to the house.
We ended our days in the hot tub each night.
The only thing I would suggest is that the cleaners remove the spider webs before we arrived. We spend time as soon as we arrived removing the spiderwebs from the outside deck and dock.
I would rent this house again.

We stayed the first week of august and found the place to be better than we expected. The pictures did not do it justice. Our friends and family stayed at the boat house (with a fridge) for the majority of the trip. We only went to house to eat and sleep. The property is big enough for kids to play in the yard and we caught catfish and bluegill from the dock. We also swam in the warm water. The extra fridge space in boat house and porch were a bonus we didn’t expect. Everything was clean and Scott’s expectations upon checkout were very clear. If I were to suggest anything it would be for him to maybe put ‘posted’ signs up because a group wanted to access his property to hang out. I believe there is construction near and they thought it was ok to enter the property. They were very nice when we asked them to leave. 5 star trip and my wife and kids are begging to book it again.

Our family loved staying in the Kinne family home for lake fun, karaoke, pool and family meals. We enjoyed the well appointed kitchen for cooking and baking as well as the extra fridge for our drinks. The location was in a wonderful cove that gets lots of light all day through the many windows. We brought our paddle boards to explore and float on the lake. We also rented a jet ski that they delivered straight to the cove and anchored right in front of the house. We were able to explore all of the lagoons and find the lower lagoon where the water temp was cooler. Great to have bathrooms for all bedrooms and the common space both upstairs and downstairs was good to hang out. I had to shut karaoke down every night by 10 pm or they would go all night. Scott was very attentive and answered all of our questions. It’s nice to rent from a family that values their home and wants other to enjoy it. Thanks you Kinne’s!
