Anumana Village Ubud

The pool and the views are spectacular. We loved it!! They give you a welcome drink that its very nice. The staff is very kind, attentive, and the cleaning service was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms have a fridge, which is very convenient if you want to buy things at the supermarket and store them. The decoration and common areas are very beautiful and charming. The rooms are big big. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Ubud center (although with limited hours). They provided sandals and kimono. We loved them!! The room has coffee, tea, and kettle to boil some water. It’s an ideal place to rest, enjoy nature, and relax by the pool, more than for those who want to move around Ubud a lot or go out at night. They offer some free culture show in the restaurant and it was really nice People at the restaurant and the reception are very friendly and provide an amazing service.

Not recommended for light sleepers: chicken start crowing very early (around 4 a.m.), and the sound insulation in the rooms is not good. After the first night we asked if there was a room where we could hear less noise from the farm animals, but we were told it was the same in all of them. Some nights we even heard pigs squealing. They offer free ear plugs but if you're not used to it, it can be a bit uncomfortable. A bit of light comes through the roof, so the rooms don’t get completely dark at night. Rooms has a very nice balcony to relax. The restaurant is quite expensive; on top of the already high prices, there’s a 21% tax and service charge. For example, one pizza, two mocktails, two beers, and a piña colada cost around 700,000 IDR. The hotel is quite far from Ubud center, and the access is not the best: the last streets are unpaved, very narrow, and dark at night, which made us avoid renting a scooter this time. The shuttle to the center only starts at 11 a.m. and the last return to the hotel is at 5 p.m., which limits your schedule a bit. The price-quality ratio feels a bit high considering the restaurant and the distance from the center, although the place itself is beautiful and peaceful.

Stayed at the property for 3 nights . Overall the property itself was super comfortable, the staff were so lovely, helpful and accommodating. All the food from the restaurant was excellent, could not fault the quality of food they had to offer. Rooms were super clean and accommodating for our needs.

Only gripe was that it’s can be quiet noisy if staying in the rooms closest to reception as you can hear the transport on the roads. There was roosters making noise continuously through the day and night and occasionally dogs heard fighting.

Great staff, great food, great pools, great view. Can’t complain

Bathtub that you shower in a bit worse for wear but nothing crazy

Villa 2 would really benefit from some TLC, aspecially the bathroom in the main bedroom. The bathtub/shower has a crack near the drain hole and needs to be replaced instead of being badly patched up. The glass screen is too small and you land up with water being splashed all over the floor. Another problem was with ants crawling on walls, including our mattress and the sun lounges. One last thing, be prepared to be woken up by a 🐓rooster or use the ear plugs provided.
