Positive aspects: The staff member who checked me in was very patient and professional. Because my flight was delayed, I didn't arrive until after 2 a.m., and this gentleman greeted me very warmly and helped me check in. My credit card had some issues at first, and he kept saying "take your time." He gave a detailed introduction: breakfast is available for 15 euros, laundry service is 12 euros, the lounge is on the upper floor, and the rooftop offers a view of the Parthenon. The next day, the young lady at the reception also mentioned that luggage storage is available for 6 euros. They charge extra for towels, but I don't remember the price because I was very tired at the time. The location is excellent. Eating, shopping, going to the supermarket, visiting the Acropolis, and going to the National Archaeological Museum are all basically within a 20-minute walk. The building is very clean, and the design is stylish and minimalist. The sign is not very big, so be careful to follow the navigation to find it. The facilities are pretty good. From floor 0 to the various floors, there is a super small elevator, and when you have luggage, basically only one person can use it. The lounge has sofas, a coffee table, tables, plugs, and also a fridge where you can store drinks, yogurt, fruit, and such. The room is very clean, and there are lockers that can be opened and locked with the room card. The beds have blackout curtains, which protect privacy and do not disturb others. On the inner side there is a small compartment with one charging port, a two-prong round-pin socket, where you can put some personal items such as your phone and tissues. I stayed in an 8-person room. The bathroom has two shower stalls and two toilet stalls; there is only one sink. The shower stall design is also very reasonable.

Negative aspects: Of course, these are mainly small things, and if they could be improved, it would be even more perfect. For example, there is a fridge but no microwave. Since I had no sense of the portion sizes at the restaurant, I ordered too much and packed up more than half of the leftover food to bring back, only to find there was nowhere to heat it. The plug by the bed is quite loose and easily falls out, which is a bit inconvenient. The showerhead is positioned relatively low, and it is fixed, so the direction cannot be adjusted and it must be used handheld, which is inconvenient. There is only one sink, so occasionally you have to wait to use it, but overall it is still okay.

Very affordable stay in the center of Athens. The room had two showers and two toilets, so it never felt crowded when using the bathroom. The terrace was also a great place to hang out and meet people. The highlight was definitely the rooftop with its amazing view of the Acropolis.

I liked that the hostel was very central and clean. The location was definitely convenient for exploring Athens.

What I did not like was the overall atmosphere. For me, it felt too sterile and too much like a hotel rather than a hostel. People usually book hostels for a social and cozy vibe, and this place lacked that feeling. It was also very noisy. Music was played until around midnight, which made it difficult to sleep, especially if you want to keep the window open. Closing the window helped with the noise, but then the room quickly became stuffy and uncomfortable because of the smell and lack of fresh air. Overall, I would not book this hostel again. I also found it overpriced for what it offers.
