HanokInn

We had a wonderful stay at Hanokinn. The staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish — incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of all the main sights in the city, which made exploring very convenient. At the same time, the immediate area around the property is quiet and peaceful, so it feels like a relaxing escape after a day of sightseeing. The hanok itself is absolutely beautiful and full of character. Staying in such a lovely traditional house really added something special to our visit. A beautiful place, a perfect location, and exceptional hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I wish I had more time there

Amazing location. Very walkable to all major sites within Gyeongju. Our economy room was cozy but the use of space is very thoughtful. Very clean and well maintained.

We loved our stay at the HanokInn, it was the highlight of our trip. The lady and gentleman whose home it is are wonderful, sincere people, so warm, kind and friendly. They gave us such a warm welcome into their home and it was a real pleasure to stay with them. Breakfast was an absolute highlight, a hearty home cooked traditional Korean meal (best bulgogi in Korea!). Our room was great, spotlessly clean and tidy and it had everything we needed. The setting was perfect, all the historical sites within easy walking distance. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and say a very big thank you to our hosts for such a wonderful, memorable experience.

The location was good

It was a Hanok, so obviously a cultural experience, but for what we paid, I still expected it to be comfortable. Instead it was like being shut in a not very comfortable cupboard! Even the towels were like rags. After 1 night of not sleeping, in fairness the bedding was changed to decent stuff and the towels we were provided with were a little better, but still not great. Definitely poor value for money and uncomfortable
