Location: the location of this place is convenient, close to grocery store, restaurant, and Palisades. You can also view the lake within walking distance.
Check-in process: we arrived around 8 pm on a Friday night and was not able to figured out which lock box to open, since there are three "by the door". And because of that, we were trying to get in-touch with the management company and were unable to reach them; we also tried the emergency line for a few times and had zero luck. I suggest y'all can better indicate which is the box for the key.
The place: The cabin is lovely and spacious, more than enough to fit four adults and a dog. The bathroom is smaller than expected plus the drainage drains very slow. The kitchen space and the fireplace are lovely.
My family and I overall enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. :)

Great location. Layout of the house was definitely underutilized by myself and cousin for the ski trip we were on but would be well suited for a large family or 2 couples with kids. Cozy a frame with a big open dining/kitchen/living space. Dated but clean.

Worked for our family. Kitchen has OK utensils and pots/pans. Beds arent bad for rental. Nice to have backcountry few blocks away. TV is a little challenging for standard stations, butbwe wre able to do workaround.

Great place for a large family gathering. A little distance to the Lake, too far to walk. Easy to check and leave. Well equipped kitchen, lots of games, nice big deck, and quiet neighborhood.

Was unable to get key out of lockbox. Called Emergency number and got code to emergency box. Prior to leaving, was unable to open emergency box. I suspect that they tab on key chain gets stuck and prevents box from opening. Bed upstairs was grossly uncomfortable. We only used the king downstairs (comfortable) and the Queen upstairs. Faucet on kitchen sink was broken but operable. Would like to have had access to regular TV channels. Upstairs shower is very small. Would have been nice to have extra paper towels. Overall, I thought the property was OK for the price.

Great location close to the lake, Tahoe City and Palisades. Access to Uber if you don't want to drive although expect to spend $40-$50 each way to Tahoe City. Only wish was that there was air-conditioning in the summer. It was very warm when we checked in. The large portable fans helped and looks like they do have heat for the winter.

This cabin is cozy and in a great location, convenient to skiing, restaurants and the lake. It was the perfect getaway for our family! It’s in a bit of a hilly area so there were beautiful views as we strolled around the neighborhood on afternoon walks.

My wife and I spent a wonderful 4 day weekend in this well maintained A-frame near Tahoe City with another couple. Everything was "as advertised" in the listing. The area is pretty special and is only a short drive to the center of Tahoe City. The private beach is very nice and the view is spectacular!

Clean, had great books and toys on hand for kids when the snow shutdown the resort, comfortable, snow removal in driveway provided was a huge plus.

Clean, comfortable, pet-friendly rental, perfect for our family of five plus dog. The home is conveniently located just above the West Shore, with easy access to hiking trails, great views, and just minutes away from a handful of restaurants, a well appointed market, and private beach. The sunny front deck was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and family dinners.

We had 3 adult couples a little dog with us, and the house worked out super well. There were no problems and the rental agency was Johnny-On-The-Spot for incidentals. We really enjoyed the house and the property. Oh, the TV sound (we all thought) was below par, perhaps a sound bar would be a good addition.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for my bday snow weekend. Location was prime, right next to Palisades and Tahoe City. Check-in was quick and easy. Cabin was clean and comfortable. 10/10 would stay again.

Space felt a lot bigger than the photos made it seem! Perfect place to come back to after a long day on the slopes. Only issue was spotty Wi-Fi, but that was made known beforehand.

We almost canceled our stay due to heavy snow…
So glad we didn’t,..despite the weather we had a fabulous time.
The home was cozy and clean, we particularly liked the first level open floor plan
The neighborhood is quiet and nice. Its bit off the main road which was only a challenge because of the heavy snow that weekend. Otherwise we loved the location and would definitely return.

This rental was wonderful except for a few things....the directions for the bear electrical wires could have been more detailed.....and there was no cancellation policy....and such high taxes, etc. The no cancellation policy made it difficult coming from 10 hours away during the winter. I will not ever rent something without it. And there were 3 lockboxs that weren't explained. The rental company was wonderful to work with.

We stayed in the winter so didn't get access to the lake :(
The house was very nice and we would stay again except for the large city taxes etc and the biggest thing was that there was a no cancelation policy. We were coming from 10 hours away during one of the biggest storms in CA history, late Feb 2023, and we didn't feel we could cancel even with travel insurance....It was a very difficult weekend and our family couldn't make it up so having no cancellations allowed was horrible. And there were 3 lockbox's which were confusing when it is dumping snow outside and the bear box key couldn't be found. and the electric bear wires instructions weren't clear in the last email that went out. The house itself was good and we did get our driveway cleared as stated

The place was clean with plenty of space for our 2 families (7 people and a dog). Great that it is pet friendly. It has all the necessary kitchen cooking pots and pans and utensils. The only issue is that hot water was super hot and hard to dial in to the right temperature. 2 car space parking. We went in snowy winter, so side door was completely blocked by snow and ice. There were bear wires with electricity on, so be careful to turn off and move to the side first or else you may get a shock. It is close to North shore of Lake Tahoe and Tahoe City downtown (10 min drive) and Palisades ski resort (former Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows) Would definitely stay again.
