We had such a wonderful experience for our family vacation. There were 14 of us total and there were plenty of beds and bedrooms to go around. We loved the 2 wagons that were provided. Those were extremely helpful when going to the beach (which had private access and was only 5-8 minutes away). Also, being directly across the road from the pool was amazing for the kids! The secondary fridge was a huge bonus. Our family likes to cook and it was really great to be able to store extra drinks etc in there while having plenty of room in the main fridge for food. When we didn't cook, the house was located near a lot of great options for dining out (15-20 minutes either direction). Only couple of items: kitchen was a bit small for a larger group that likes to cook. You couldn't really have more than 3 people in there at a time to get anything accomplished. The quantity of utensils needed to be increased for a house that would sleep as many as it does. The only other thing were the cleaning tools available. The broom needed an upgrade and a slightly larger trash can would have been helpful (since all trash had to be in a bag inside the can). We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great place to stay very close to beach the house had more then enough room for all of us to move around have the wagons for the beach provided was very nice made it easy to get all of our stuff to the beach

We love staying here. Easy walk to ocean and across st from pool! Lots of extra blankets and pillows to get cozy after a day of sun!

The process was so easy. Get a code for the gate, the beach, the pool, the house, and the world is your oyster! The only two things that stood out that could possibly be changed were the floors, and check-out. Maybe it's true of all of the properties in this community, but our floors were dirty. Like, have to wear your socks, and at the end of the day they're a different color, dirty. But, I'm also not sure how much there is to be done about it, as we actually ran the vacuum, as we had a bunch of kids so it was a necessity anyway, and this was still the case. The other was check-out. It seemed a little odd to have to wash our towels, and dishes, etc. Not, in the, it was super annoying sense, but in the, does that mean that if the people before us didn't really do it, that we were using dirty towels, and dishes? I would recommend removing this part of the process, and just having a cleaning crew do the work, would have left me with a better final impression!

Great location for beach and pool access! Enjoyed our time there with our kids and grandkids. The house has plenty of space! The renters before us apparently left the house in bad shape so the cleaners had to take a little extra time to clean. I feel the house could have been cleaner.

The owner was very quick to respond to all of our questions including best places to eat! The house was very close to the beach and we were able to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Our only complaint was the houseful of teenage college students next door that began partying from 10pm until 3-4 am. We would definitely rent this property again in the future. Thank you Mr. Apling

Beautiful home in a great location, just a short walk from the beach and the pool just across the street. The home was specious enough host 15 adults with no issues. Al was great in quickly answering any questions we had, we would definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was the cleaniness of the house upon arrival, floor felt dirty and sandy, some stained bed sheets, toilet paper in some of the bins, some dishes needed to be rewashed and the fridge needed a better cleaning. Besides that we had an awesome week.

We loved our stay. Al was excellent with communication. We were low on gas for the grill and he brought it right away. You can tell that he listens to his guest and wants them to have a happy and care free stay. I wish the beach would have been a little closer walk, although the wagons helped a lot.

A short walk to the beautiful beach. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is big and clean. Very nice and fit everyone in our party. The owner was very responsive. If you are looking for a beautiful house in a great location look no further.

Our stay at Casa Grande couldn’t have been better! The house was definitely big enough for the 11 1/2 of us. Everyone had their own space, and with the side upper deck, several of our adult children found their own evening oasis. We had everything we needed, and when we requested a propane gas replacement, Al was right on it. The location was perfect! We could easily walk to the beach, which with a 6 year old, 2 4 year olds, and a 10 week old and all their ‘stuff’ isn’t ever easy. The large gator pulled all our beach paraphernalia. The pool was right across the street, which again, made a pool visit so easy. We’ll definitely look at staying here again!

Al is an excellent home owner! Very responsive and attentive. The home is beautiful and an easy walk to the beach and right across from the pool. Home is well-stocked with games, appliances, towels and linens. We would recommend and would stay there again!!

Great house. We had twelve people (6 adults and 6 kids) and it was super comfortable! Of the houses we saw in this neighborhood, this was one of the largest ones — updated — super well decorated and so convenient to pool and beach! We loved it! ❤️

This 5 BR, 3.5 bath home had beautiful finishes and hard floors throughout. One additional bath would have been advantageous with lots of girls in our party, but there were 3 mirrors in the upstairs hall that made applying makeup not a problem. Al the property owner was easy to communicate with and very attentive to make sure that all was well during our stay. Very nice beach pavilion for Emerald Shores beachside with bathrooms and area to park your beach wagon streetside and not have to carry it down the steps to the beach. We love the Destin area and come every year. This particular section of beach was very nice- wide section of flat sand Oceanside. The Emeral Shores neighborhood is right beside Kenny D’s and Captain Dave’s. Only a short walk from the house to the beach and the house is right across the street from the neighborhood pool which is very nice with lots of lounge chairs. Be conscious that there are some cleaning requirements for this house: washing towels, sweeping floors, washing & putting up all dishes, but the cleaning fee is drastically reduced from what you would typically pay on a house such as this so there are cost savings here in this regard with this rental. Overall a great vacation!

We had plenty of room. The pool was across the street and the beach was close enough to walk. We would definitely stay here again!!

This property is really beautiful. It’s perfectly located by the pool and close to the beach. It’s a very nice gated community, well kept and safe. The taxi golf car was a perfect convenience every day.

We really enjoyed Casa Grande. It was perfect. It has a good layout and most importantly lots of restrooms. Close to the beach, and the community has 2 swimming pools. Definitely want to stay here agian on our next visit to Florida.

Plenty of room for a family vacation of 10 persons. Being right across the street from the main swimming pool was a bonus. Great communication with Al the property owner. Loved our stay at Casa Grande.
