We loved our stay at The Mustard Pot. The house is a good size, well furnished, very quiet, and has a big dog friendly garden. We had 2 dogs with 2 crates but there was plenty of room to fit these in. There were 4 large car parking spaces for the cottage, 2 at the front door and 2 about a 30 second walk from the house. The location was perfect. We found good dog walks from the house (one to Morwick Dairy for human and dog ice cream), but also took the dogs to the beach which is about 10 minutes away by car. There is also a nice country park about 10 minutes away by car. The house is very close to Warkworth, Amble and Alnwick but we also ventured further away to Morpeth, Holy Island, Bamburgh, and Craster which has a lovely coastal walk to the castle and beach. We used the cooker, washing machine and dishwasher which worked well, but we mostly ate out. There are plenty of dog friendly pubs and restaurants near by, just make sure you book. If visiting the area again, we would definitely stay at this house again.
