It’s location
The room was like a prison cell the bathroom was horrible.

Clean, roomey, nice bed, comfy. Just wanted a clean bed to sleep in and a place to shower, definitely exceeded my needs.
I got the last room so it was pricey

The hotel was a bit far from the station if you're walking, but there is a bus that stops just opposite.
The girls in the reception didn't speak much English, but we were able to do the check-in with no problems.
The area around is quiet and nice, we found a place where they served really good Okonomiyaki.
I booked smoking rooms my mistake, so I can't fault the hotel, but the smell was disgusting and I wasn't able to sleep properly because of the smell.
Also the mattress were no mattress at all, they are futon over the mattress base and it was quite uncomfortable.
