Abbey Point Hotel

We had an excellent breakfast in the café, which also offers good value and great tasting lunch and evening meals. There's bus stop close by where the 440 takes you directly to Wembley Park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely book again.

The hotel, room and facilities were as described in the offering and we had a lovely view of the Wembley stadium from our room. The staff were friendly and helpful – we asked for a plate and cutlery, as there were none in the room, and got it from the bar/café. Finally, breakfast was delicious and kept us going through most part of the day.

I had serious concerns about the area in which the hotel is situated, however, I wish to stress that all these aspects are beyond the hotel’s direct control. Firstly, due to the sheer amount of litter everywhere and overflowing bins I found the area depressing, as if local residents did not care about their surroundings. Secondly, I found the area somewhat dodgy and would not have walked by myself from either of the nearby tube stations (Stonebridge Park and Harlesden) after dark or along the canal, even in daylight. And thirdly, motorcycle stunt riding seems to be organised on a regular basis along a side section of North Circular (on the way to/from Stonebridge Park station). During our 5-day stay the hotel we heard it once and, on another occasion, had to walk straight through a group of dozens of guys on motorbikes, some of whom had their faces and number plates covered – I found it disconcerting.
