The apartment perfectly fits Bocas vibe, old, a bit strange, and extremely cozy. Great place to chill and to reboot your nervous system.
The apartment has anything you might need for a short or a long stay.
Amelie, the host, is a super friendly person, really eager to help with any trouble, she even found a person to check the water pump at 10 pm, so you’re never lost and abandoned.
Before booking, keep in mind that it’s not a luxury hotel in Monaco, it’s a real house in a real Carribean village with all the troubles that might occur (power outages, problems with water supply, unstable internet and mosquitoes). Although the host is incredibly friendly and eager to help, she is not almighty and can’t fix the whole island. Otherwise, come and enjoy, it’s a good place to enjoy life!

Amelie was an awesome hostess. Good communication. We loved having the whole apartment, which suited our needs perfectly. Rustic but comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Ample ceiling fans. Quiet.
Just wished the bed in the main bedroom was up off the floor. Difficult for us old people to get in and out of.

The idea and design is nice. but it wasn’t presented or described very clearly in the listing.
Unfortunately we discovered there were bed bugs, which was a horrible surprise. At first we thought the bites were from mosquitoes since there are no window screens and the doors are open gates where animals and bugs can come in. After visiting a pharmacy we were told the bites were from bed bugs. The beds are also placed directly on the floor. It was around 35°C during our stay and there was only one AC unit in a single bedroom, while the other three beds only had fans, which made the heat very difficult to sleep in.
