The water was AWFUL. It not only tasted bad, the first shower made the person smell. It did improve after the water was run for a while. If you can't change it, have someone run it just before rental and at least recommend bringing a good supply of bottled water. The thermostat was locked when we arrived but was "released" after we called. I'd gladly rent this unit again.
