Cosy rooms, variety of foods for breakfast, nice sitting area with a fire and windows with great views, enough room for luggage in the bedrooms, close to ski lifts

Meals at lodge were quite expensive. Lodge is great if you have a car or are ok with catching the bus into town (takes 40 min). Otherwise, organise meals at local restaurants in advance as it can be hard to get a table.

Lovely stay, close to lifts, great service, great food and a real japanese like chalet stay!

Not much to do in the area and buses stop early in the evenings if you want to go out, but easy for ski lifts, the accommodation was comfortable, perfect and breakfast included and the service was amazing ♥️

Location was great - only a very short walk to Annupuri Ski hill and a few other local eating establishments. The continental breakfast was very good with a lot of options. They also had a restaurant that served dinner options until 9pm. Shower rooms were spacious - but only 1 shower for women. Laundry facilities were also available. The interior is constructed with beautiful wood to give it a very cozy cabin vibe and there is a small fireplace as well. There is free WiFi. The staff were very helpful.

The rooms are located downstairs and the hallway was always cool. Rooms are heated with diesel space heaters so often there was a faint odor of diesel when the units were heating up. Boot dryers would be great addition. This is not anything against the Ginkei but there are not a ton of dining options in the Annupuri area and it can be difficult to get a table in many of them due to their capacity - and without a reservation. To explore further away from the area, a car would be very helpful. Taxis are available but not always timely. We had 4 sharing one room so feel the price was fairly high for shared accommodations as well as shared bathrooms. However, it is peak ski season and location, location, location.

No hot water when taking shower. Bathroom can’t light on. Poor breakfast.
