Was one of the cleanest places i have rented.

The best part of this house was its location and living room for lounging. The trailhead right for the Garden of the Gods being right next to it is amazing. Worst part are the beds if you are sleeping with a partner. They say queen size and maybe..it felt like a full and it's not because my wife and I are large people. The beds were clean and comfy but not the size I expected. Bathroom was fine, you only have 1. The raccoons or maybe a bear got into the trash bin that the cleaning folks had not latched and yard saled the trash across part of the lawn. I was a bit put out because I asked for the host to handle that as I was leaving for the day and they promptly agreed. Came back to the same mess. By 4pm I just cleaned it up myself. All I got was a thank you and a customer service line about trying to be exceptional. Meh, maybe I'm just a grumpy middle aged guy who didn't sleep well on a small bed LOL. Either way, I didn't get bedbugs, the AC works great, the location is terrific and the back patio is nice. Lastly, here's a weird warning! That city gets crazy thundestorms and a decent amount of hail, I had no idea until I was trying to save my rental car. And you cannot use the garage at this place but there is a decent tree to park under. So figure for that. Good luck!

Clean, nice quiet area right next to Garden of the Gods.

The house's size, bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and location were all just what we were looking for and the house has a lot of potential. The first problem we had during our stay was the smell. There was a very off-putting smell (mainly in the living area) that we couldn't identify the source of, however i feel like it was the furniture, and as much as we tried to air it out with opening doors - nothing worked. The furniture in the living room seemed very cheap, as did the bed in the main bedroom - it was creaky and the mattress was uncomfortable. It seemed like corners were cut with the quality of the furniture, but it was noticeable and an upgrade would have made a huge difference.
