The property was beautiful. The studio we stayed in was nice with a beautiful bathroom. The service and breakfast were excellent! We'd definitely return - just not in the studio.
Unfortunately, the studio we stayed in had a damp, musty odor and the air conditioning wasn't strong enough to properly ventiliate/dehumidify the room. We saw evidence of mold. Nothing dried unless you put it on the towel warmer.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Very good location, very beautiful house with a history. Very good breakfast and very nice and helpful lady Tanja who takes care of everything. Would like to come back one day. Highly recommend.

We received a very warm welcome from Tania, who has great pride in the venue. The gardens were very interesting, being stocked with mature tropical plants. Our room was very comfortable with air conditioning. The location was good.

Rip off
Are the front desk staff in the hospitality business? I couldn’t tell. Not friendly, didn’t offer necessary info about the room so we found out the hard way. After spending 12 days in Portugal and staying here on our last night, they were the least hospitable.
