Ivy's Natural Resort

Ivy is such a wonderful, friendly host and made us feel at home straight away. On arrival we were greeted with a sweet treat and cold drink, she gave us a map of the island with recommendations and then showed us to our room which was absolutely beautiful, looking out over the mountain down to the port. The room itself was spacious and well maintained and had all the amenities you could need (iron, hairdryer, shampoo and soaps, glasses and cutlery, beach bag and towels, etc.) plus there were fresh bathrobes and slippers to be used throughout the stay. Every evening Ivy sent a WhatsApp with the breakfast options for the following morning which would be brought to your room - this was such a nice touch as it meant the breakfast was fresh each day and it really gave that luxury, relaxed feeling you want when you’re on holiday. What really stood out to us was the care and attention that Ivy and her team give to guests. For example, she checked in with us on our first night to make sure we were settled, she organised a massage one afternoon to be enjoyed on our private patio and on our last night, we received a bottle of wine and a cheeseboard which was a lovely surprise and a great way to end our trip. Ivy has built such a wonderful boutique resort and it’s clear that everything centres around the guest experience. If you want somewhere that is self-contained and has everything you need but with a quiet luxury feel and hotel-like service, then this is definitely the place to stay!

Getting to and from the property via the main road requires driving up and down a very steep driveway (approx. 200m) which can be difficult, even for those who are confident drivers. We preferred to keep our car parked at the top of the hill on the main road and walk up/down each day, although I’d only recommend this if you have fairly good fitness and suggest bringing a bottle of water with you! Despite this, Ivy very kindly offered to drive us up each day (but we were happy to walk) and it wouldn’t put us off staying again.

My partner and I stayed at Ivy's Natural Resort recently and had the most fabulous, relaxing visit. We can't say enough good things about Ivy, the team, the resort and, of course, the adorable pets – Sherlock, Diva and Irma! It was my birthday during our stay, and Ivy and the team went out of their way to make it memorable – bringing me birthday cake with a candle in it at breakfast, recommending special restaurants and even messaging me when the cats were in the lobby so I could come and pet them! My partner was unfortunately a little unwell during our stay, and Ivy was so calm, reassuring and helpful – arranging an emergency doctor for us and following up to make sure all was sorted. We specifically chose Ivy's as it's a smoke-free haven in Tinos – being asthmatic, it was important to me to stay somewhere clean and with fresh air. We had no problems in or around the complex and felt completely at ease during our time there. In fact, it genuinely felt like we were the only people at the resort, despite it being fully booked! I still miss the delicious and plentiful breakfasts, the stunning room with its luxury amenities and comfy bed, the private and secluded patio and pool, the incredible views, and being in such easy reach of all Tinos has to offer. Thank you, Ivy and team, for making two very needy guests feel like nothing was too much trouble! And to everyone reading this, my only recommendation is to book your stay NOW! 💙

Having to leave!

Ivy’s is a wonderful oasis! The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed and the outdoor area is so generous in size, especially with a private pool! The view is vast and calming. It is truly the perfect place to unwind and relax. It’s a perfect base to explore all Tinos has to offer.
