Great home, great location and great time with family

Good property, very clean well equipped. Just had to make a call to get into the property. Overall we liked it. It’s a bit far from historic St Augustine.

Our family was there for my wedding and the house was a perfect space for everyone. The master suite was perfect for the pre wedding dressing party. The pool and spa was great for the kids. And the beach was amazing, no one minded the short walk.

Beautiful house and location but it was not equipped with enough towels or toiletries for our party. Home could have been cleaner and needs a bit of TLC. There were dirty dishes and opened grocery items left behind. There was no gas for grill and it was a bit difficult finding propane on a Sunday but we were promptly reimbursed after our stay for purchasing a propane tank on our own. Overall we had a great time and the views made up for the few issues we experienced.

Very clean, easy check-in. Well stocked with beach supplies and entertaining things to do. Ping-pong table was a big "hit" with our family. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience at this property. The pool was perfect for the kids, and the views were incredible. The location of this property was perfect for what we were looking for, and everyone agreed that we would hands down rent this vacation home again.

The property was beautiful, about a 20 minute drive from grocery stores and most restaurants. However, this gave it a very exclusive feeling. Hardly anyone on the beach during the day, except for surfers. As soon as part of our group arrived, they had to call maintenance due to the level with all of the bedrooms being 77 degrees and the A/C not working properly. The keypad also was not working with the code that was provided. The maintenance guy did come to fix the A/C and programmed the keypad. He let us know that we should call if we had any additional problems. The rest of us arrived shortly after and noticed that the hot tub was not working properly. We all read the instructions and deduced that there was likely something wrong with the controller. So I called the next day regarding this issue. I spoke to a woman in the office who was very professional and courteous. However, she was asking the maintenance man questions in the background. He sounded very irritated and annoyed with us calling stating that he had "already checked it" and it worked. The maintenance man came by later in that afternoon and found that it was not working, and said the pool guy had locked it and he had to get a hold of him. We waited 2 days with no updates so called again. They notified me that they were waiting on him to return the call. He finally came by 4 days later and temporarily fixed it and didn't update anyone. It worked for one evening before we had issues again. I decided not to call back given the response from the maintenance man and the fact that we were leaving the following day. Our full party was looking forward to utilizing the hot tub, so it was disappointing that we could not. Overall, the property was beautiful, a little far from town, and there were some maintenance issues.

The property is very nice and spacious. The area and the view were beautiful. I am 67 years old with a back issue so all of the steps were a challenge. The pool was the best...we used it every day almost all day long as the weather was very hot and humid. Very buggy at night though. Although the listing doesn't say that there are pool toys...there were many in the garage. Kitchen is well equipped except for pots. There was only one small and a large but nothing in between, especially if you were cooking numerous items. The disappointing things were that when we went to cookout on the 2nd day there was no propane for the gas grill. We had to call VRBO and wait for someone to deliver on a Sunday. That same day we went to use the oven in the kitchen and it would not heat up. We were told that the maintenance tech said to try a "trick" to get it to work. Seriously!!! A trick to make the oven work. Well the trick did not work. Then I was told that someone would come Monday or Tuesday to look at it. No one came so I called back and someone finally came on Thursday I believe. We were told they were replacing the stove but the technician said I don't carry stoves on my truck and he was going to try to fix it and he did. At that point we had one full day left of our vacation. When we first arrived all of the trash from the former tenants was in the basement, smelling and covered with maggots. I called VRBO about that because the neigh/bor said that someone was supposed to take the trash every Saturday. The excuse was that the trash company went to the wrong address. We ended up taking out all of the trash which really upset me because my son-in-law had a bad shoulder and was facing surgery and he took out most of that trash to the road. And last but not least 6 chairs were broken and not useable. We were told by the VRBO person, who came with the oven tech and took pictures of them, that the next day someone would come and take away the broken chairs but no one came. The front porch was infested with bugs when we arrived so we had to get bug spray and hose it down to sit out there but of course that is where 3 out of 6 chairs were broken. So that was our stay in a nutshell.

After booking through VRBO, I received a 14 page contract from VTrips requiring 13 signatures and 3 initials or our trip would be cancelled with no refund. This included language stating vacuuming was required (after paying a hefty cleaning fee) and that we could be kicked out for "profane language". The oven did not work during our stay, which we were informed about a few hours before check in - after we already planned and bought the group's ingredients to eat baked chicken and brownies. We did not receive any money back offered for the inconvenience. The last hours that we were there, we had an unannounced guest blocking our driveway unloading & loading lawn chairs which felt invasive (the back door blinds do not close) and made it hard to pack up. I really hope the home owners will use another rental management company that is up-to-date on the times, as the home is very lovely and in a great location.

Awesome views all around of the ocean!! This house had wonderful gathering areas for our family of ten. Decor was elegant , and the beds very comfortable. Pool with spa was wonderful during the day in addition to time spent at the beach which was just a short walk. down the street. We cooked most of our meals at the house. Only drawback was that the ice maker on the fridge was broken, and we bought bags of ice all week . Also, the smoke alarm was very sensitive each time you cooked . Definitely not deal breakers as we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wave Watch was spectacular!
