Hotel Selis

Location is fantastic, while very close to the hustle and bustle and noise of Parque Lleras area, it's tucked away sufficiently so you don't get all the noise that some of the other nearby hotels experience. Staff friendly, room clean, bed comfortable, good wifi. Checked all the boxes for me. Oh and wonderful towels. All that stuff makes a difference.

Hot water pressure very low and water leaked from shower stall. Other than that the room was great.

Rooftop is top notch and better than the pictures. Breakfast was authentic and it had some variations to make things interesting. Mini market next door. Daily cleaning. Soundproof room. Stylish hotel design and decor.

Small tiny insects showed on various surfaces in the room and out, even at breakfast coffee machine and chocolate spread jar. It weirded me out and had to use insect repellent in bathroom and main room counter. Bed covers were bedsheets nothing more. Staff members don’t speak English. It wasn’t a problem for me as I can manage in Spanish. Anyone can enter and go to rooftop with no card needed for the elevator which wasn’t entirely safe in my view. All the above might be normal in a Medellín hotel. The positives outweigh the negatives.
