Spacious, stylish and contemporary family-friendly gite in Gavray, Normandy
Normandia Gite Holidays è un ex di pietra e terra fienile trasformato in agosto 2015 in una casa di vacanza contemporaneo, ben attrezzate e spaziose. Le travi originali sono stati lasciati a vista e contrasto con le linee pulite e luce, spazio arioso. Le alette originali sono stati sostituiti con una parete di vetro che permette alla luce naturale di inondare nel grande foyer d'ingresso. Su un lato del foyer è il salotto con una porta che conduce sul patio e giardino. Rilassatevi con un libro dalla libreria, guardare la TV inglese o francese o semplicemente chattare con gli amici o la famiglia. Sul lato opposto del foyer è la cucina e zona pranzo. La cucina è ben attrezzata e la zona pranzo può ospitare 6 persone comodamente. Questo è uno spazio molto socievole per divertirsi con gli amici e la famiglia. Un ripostiglio al piano di sotto con servizi igienici, lavabo e lavatrice completa il piano di sotto. Al piano superiore, una camera matrimoniale generoso e rilassante con letto king size e bagno doccia attende. Due ulteriori camere da letto, che può essere doppie o matrimoniali, condividono un bagno con doccia decorata con gusto per offrire la massima flessibilità. Riscaldamento centralizzato in tutto l'alloggio e una stufa a legna nel salone assicurarsi che sia disponibile tutto l'anno. Contact with Chris was very good, fast and clear. Everything was as promised. We where there round Christmas time, she asked us if we want a Christmas tree, answer was yes and the tree was there as also other Christmas decorations. Chris is very helpful and reachable when you need something. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Thank you Chris for everything and stay Safe.

We stayed for a week and used the house as a base for our house hunting trip. Chris, the owner was at hand to see to our needs. She's a very pleasant and helpful woman. The house itself is very spacious , yet warm and cosy. It's also very well equipped. The location of the property is brilliant and there's so much to do either on the doorstep or within a 90 minute drive. We wouldn't hesistate to recommend it.

This was a lovely place to stay over the christmas period as a family. The property is obviously well thought about and cared for by the owner, and has undergone a beautiful refurbishment whist retaining lovely original features of the barn. The facilities throughout the property were really excellent and made for a very easy stay. The front room is large and has a wonderful wood burner. The pictures of the kitchen do not do the space justice; it was really bright, spacious and comfortable- perfect for family meals with all the necessary equipment and basics. There is a great seating area out the back which we didn't use but must be great in summer. All bedrooms were of a good size and again very comfortable. We already knew the local area and it is very scenic and with easy access to many local beautiful spots. The property is within easy reach of the Normandy and Brittany coastlines. The property was spotlessly clean and Chris the property owner welcomed us and remained available via email contact. She left a welcome basket of yummy treats which was much appreciated!Thank you Chris we really had a fabulous time in your beautiful property and hope to be back!

This lovely gite is comfortable, light and airy which was very welcome at the end of a busy hot day. The decor in the spacious rooms is modern and fresh. The property (in particular the kitchen) is very well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras. The garden was a lovely sun trap in the evening. The owner, Chris, was very welcoming and provided lots of information about places to visit. The area surrounding the property is very quiet and peaceful. There is a main road close by but, as there is very little traffic , noise was not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others without hesitation.
