Perfect house in a great location for exploring the Dordogne. Very comfortable, the outside area and pool is lovely. Had everything we needed. Close to local amenities, you can walk into Périgueux or take a short drive. We stayed here for a week with our grow up children and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The local council have introduced a card system to access the main refuse bins down the road (there are no individual household wheelie bins you have to walk to them), which means visitors and tourists were leaving their rubbish beside the bins, which then were opened by animals. We decided to bag up our refuse and stored it in the laundry room during the week, and had to leave it in the kitchen when we left as there was no where else to put it. It’s easy to get rid of recycling and glass; no card needed for those. It’s not a fault of the house at all as this is a new thing for the area but the council haven’t quite got it right.

Le ré de chaussée (salon cuisine salle à manger). Le mobilier de jardin. Le linge de lit les draps.

Deux des trois chambre sont en sous sol et peu faciles d’accès (escalier japonais) et peuvent également être un peu humides.

La déco

Piscine inutilisable car trouble au début et verte à la fin. Nous avions réservé en particulier pour la piscine. Sur la photo l’eau est bleue et on dirait une piscine hors sol et non auto portée…
