A beautiful - what seemed like newly renovated - property incredibly well located by the old town with free street parking (also very easy and quick to get to from the airport). Perfect for a short stay to allow easy exploring, suited our needs very nicely, with a lovely terrace great for sunset. We really enjoyed walking around town and would highly recommend visiting Faro Cathedral for the Tower view and booking Restaurant Céu for a delicious evening meal.
There were a few quirks like the ground floor shower door not reaching fully across, the air conditioning only working on auto setting, and some light switches in odd places BUT the host was very responsive and helpful, and overall it was a very comfortable property. You will hear the church bells but that is part of being so well located near Igreja do Carmo!

Apartment is nice and clean and has even two bathrooms. Beds are all fine to sleep on.
Free parking in front of the door (if there is a free spot, else find one in the next street).
Host was very helpful and responsive. You can find some beach supplies in the apartment if you go out for a beach day.
We missed some kitchen dish cloths but after contacting the owner, it was solved the next day. So not a real complaint.
Price is quite high but compared to other apartments in the area Faro/Albufeira it is similar.
