Painters at the Angel

It was comfortable and close to where I attending a funeral service, which was a great help.

Nothing not to like.

Very convenient, friendly owner, clean room and as expected.

All was fine

It was quiet and in a great location

Nothing

The room was functionable and the TV worked. The bed was nice. Tea and coffee was provided but that should all be a guarantee at a price of £84 a night

The entrance way was not clear. When you reached the door by which you enter the message in the window said the entrance was through the arch, making you think it was somewhere else. It was highly confusing and I eventually had to enter through the back of the pub and ask a member of staff. There was a private party on so the bar was out of use. Noone was around on the Sunday and I was expecting that some kind of breakfast might be provided. It was generally a basic room. The door was quite difficult to lock from the outside. I just think for the basic amenities the price was far too high - by at least £20. I have spent far less and more salubrious surroundings.
