Red Lion, Coorie Inn

The room was a very good size with a large bed and all very well presented and aesthetically pleasing. The toiletries in the bathroom were of excellent quality with additional touches of nice soap and face flannel. There was also a little pack of goodies to take away- all very positive gestures. Susie and Carl were very welcoming and warm and with helpful suggestions of where to eat an evening meal. There was also a small side room / lounge where we could serve ourselves a drink on an honesty payment level. The room where breakfast was served was extremely pleasant with wonderful freshly baked bread on offer and a very well cooked breakfast served by Carl. An added bonus for us was the on site parking and it was so reassuring to arrive to find the frontage of the hotel so attractively planted our with bright flowers.

Really nothing to raise except perhaps a warning that the heated towel rail was very hot indeed! A designated place to deposit used glasses in the bar area would also be useful.

Very friendly owners who made the stay very comfortable and welcoming.

Quite basic facilities but did the job with no complaints!

Friendly staff, lovely bar. Very helpful with buying fish and chips and eating them at the bar. Brilliant honesty bar.

The owners are awesome, breakfast extremely good, rooms just fantastic. Don’t judge when you walk through the door give it 5 mins and you will be so glad you stayed here and look forward in going back.
