The location is excellent and the staff were all hardworking and polite.
The restaurant just could not cope. We were told at 6pm that it would be at least an hour before we could get a table and then another 40 min wait for food. With a 3 year old who had been in Chessington WOA all day this was not what we wanted to hear. The staff suggested ordering food on Uber eats to be delivered to the hotel, so we did. It wasn't much better at breakfast, by 8.45 am there was little or no cutlery and no mugs for hot drinks. The fruit salad was not replenished. The staff could not work any harder and were embarrassed. Surely the hotel knows its room occupancy and should have adequate staff.

Great for the park and kids
Nothing is on during the week apart from Friday and Saturday and that is the same with the food choice as well. We wanted to do the buffet for my partners birthday on Thursday but it wasn’t open

Lovely themes, lots for the kids to do!
Food was very expensive - I guess because it is Merlin.
We didn’t realise there was evening entertainment and missed most of it because our food took about 45 minutes to come
