Laura's Tower had everything we needed for our trip, and Kale was a great host. The bedroom area is larger than we thought, and it was nice having the half-bath downstairs. There is an in-unit washer and dryer, which was a huge benefit. Paonia is such a charming, laid-back little town with friendly neighbors, and Laura's Tower is just a minute or two by car to downtown. We made it to Crested Butte in less than 90 minutes and some spots along the Black Canyon in less than an hour. Great value!

Well, it’s tempting to write a review that will discourage others from staying at Laura’s View Tower, so I have more opportunity to stay there…because the fact is it is a delightful place to stay. The deck off the kitchen is a wonderful spot to have a cocktail and take in the views. Immediately behind the house is access to a lovely path for a walk that gives views of the whole valley. Laura’s View Tower was clean, has a very comfortable king size bed, the kitchen has everything you need, and the whole place is in great shape. Paonia is beautiful and peaceful, with lots to explore. Kale suggested the Paonia Riverside Park, which we visited, and found to be a truly charming walk.
