Check in was very well organised and Reception had keys ready for collection ahead of time. Complimentary drinks were provided in the bar, a nice touch. We found that our dining table had a loose wobbly top. I rang to report it at 9:15 the following morning. The maintenance staff came and had it repaired by 9:30. For the most part the accommodation was clean, tidy and fit for purpose. That said scratch beneath the surface and the property could do with a refresh. Chair fabric repaired using duck tape, shelves on the inside of the fridge door missing, grouting missing bathroom floor tiles for example

Loved the lodge, clean and when the heating didn’t work twice it was sorted v quickly. Equipped very well but we do like a cafetière!

Great only slight observation is arm rests on chairs have black tape on them where they are ripped, could do with being replaced
