This property is fantastic! Our friend group has gathered once per year for the last eight years and we have stayed at several properties in Montreat. All of them pale in comparison to this one and we've stayed here for the last few years and will continue to do so from now on. It is clean, well-stocked, secure and situated exactly where it needs to be for us!

I come up here every year to speak at a retreat. This year I had the opportunity to bring my children and grandchildren. Montreat is beautiful and the location was superb. The home on the other hand was not up to par. Please know that there are not 3 bathrooms, just 2. The home is old, which typically is not a big deal but you can hear every footstep and door opening. The electricity went out on one side of the house and it took Vacasa almost 8 hours to fix. Oh by the way they made us fix it. They couldn’t be bothered after I spent well over $1600. The beds were run down and just thrown together. The pictures are very misleading as it appears there is a queen bed in 3 of the rooms upstairs and it’s only 2. The other is a twin that is crammed into a box. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement as I rent from VRBO at least 2-3 times a year. Do yourself a favor and find another place for your family especially if you’re bringing small children. Signed an unhappy renter.
