The location was great - 40 minute walk to the entrance to the beaches at the national park. We had a two bedroom penthouse apartment with its own pool which was nice at the end of a day. The complex was kept in pristine condition. Supermarket across the street. Great restaurants and street food close by.
The entire complex is stunning. Our apartment could have been cleaner. Some of the garbage had not been removed, the floors needed a better cleaning, cigarette butts left on our balcony, and most disturbing was the leak in the kitchen ceiling - we had to keep a bucket in place to catch the drips. Surprised there were not any cleaning cleaning products, soap, garbage bags, dish cloths, or salt and pepper.

Pool, design and vibe, location to stores and paths
Some cleanliness issues here and there but nothing crazy.

The complex is really nice. Beautiful pool area, alright location, and the apartment itself is also nice.
The host was really not attentive when I needed help over WhatsApp. The checkin process was complicated, and I was not properly supported. During one of the days, power went out in the entire complex, and there was no form of communication or support around this - I know the host can't fix it, but it's their responsibility to make my vacation as pleasant as possible.
The reception required for you to ask permission before using the gym, which is also strange. Why do I need permission to use an amenity that's included in the stay.
