Rob is a real gent & did make us welcome. Clean & tidy. A pleasant surprise with the welcome box. We had the Rowan Lodge and the layout works well.
Location ideal for York, Pocklington & Selby, lovely country roads to drive, rather than the boredom of motorways and within half an hour of the lodges, subject to traffic and roadworks.
Oak Club & Spa beautiful, providing robes, towels & footwear, lockers are coded. Food good value.
Disappointed not to have a hot tub, as only two of the four do, so double check if it is a must.
Some main road noise, but eventually got used to it.
