The room was nice and clean, the bathroom and kitchen were shared amongst other 3 rooms and I never had to wait to access them. It is possible to get some tea and snacks. The owner was extremely kind. There are quite a few buses to the city centre, and most agencies offer a pickup service near the address, so it's very convenient even if one doesn't have a car.

Everything was excellent! Maria is the best host and so wholesome! Looking forward to going back to Madeira!

The room looked nice, is well furnished and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very well stocked - much more than usual - with pretty much everything you'd need.

Same problem as many others had: It's hard to find. I had to have a call to find it, and the person repeated 3 or 4 times that "it's in the photos", as if to ram home the point. There are almost 100 photos, and while they show independent close-ups of certain doors/areas, and isolated outside areas, there's nothing that makes it clear on how to get there as you approach the general complex of multiple apartments and buildings. The provided link will not do the job accurately. There is a huge construction site directly across the road from the bedroom, so there's noise very early almost every morning. Given the location and the surrounding building site, I'd say that this place is overpriced by about €10-15.
