The Fountain Creek Inn of Manitou Springs

Great location, close enough to walk the town, far enough out to enjoy the quiet of the mountains.

Everything was great!

The property and room were surprisingly quiet and peaceful, given how close they were to the center of Manitou Springs. For the price, I would definitely consider staying at the Fountain Creek Inn again in the future, especially if I ever experience the night scene in Manitou Springs. Management contacted me before I arrived about an HVAC issue; however, the portable radiant heater provided sufficient heat.

Parking close to the room wasn't possible, but overflow parking was only about 20 yards away. The queen bed was too firm for my bad back; however, I always pack a plush mattress topper just in case, and I slept very well.

The host was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating; she even received a package for me and had it waiting in my room when I arrived, which I really appreciated. Check-in was completely hassle-free — everything was handled online, and I received my room number and access code in advance, so arriving late was no problem at all. The room was comfortable and quiet, parking was easy, and the location was absolutely perfect for the Pikes Peak race — I could leave the car at the hotel and walk to the start in just a few minutes. Super convenient and exactly what I needed. Highly recommended!

Bed was comfortable and tv with apps was nice.

The amount of noise that easily is heard from others staying. Upstairs tenant was making noise till 1am , sounded pretty much like furniture dragging or things being dropped on repeat and slamming really loud which due to the noise rules being clear I was annoyed by. I wish there was a vending machine or maybe some water bottles something I had to uber to a store just for water. Also more clear instructions on how to lock door I was unaware on how to lock the door and had to figure it out .
