Does not provide water bottle and need to bring own water bottle to refill water on each floor.

Right next to the MTR so you can visit other places in HKG easily! All modes of public transport were within 3 min walking distance! Location wise was great. Staff were extremely friendly especially Hassan at concierge. Made our stay very welcoming.

Having lived in Hong Kong for half our lives, staying in a hotel was different to what we have been used to. We now live in Europe so we were visiting to check on our house and to do other things medical and obligatory. We chose the hotel because our house is near Taipo, and Shatin is just a short train ride away but with lots more going on than Taipo can offer. We chose a room with a river view and although it rained just about every day for the two weeks we were there it was nice to have a view. Outside the hotel there are walks and bike paths around the river and beyond so it's easy and very safe to escape for some flash air. The rooms are very big and the very large bed was wonderfully comfortable. The power shower, although not rain forrest, was excellent and having a mini bar with tea/coffee making supplies was great. We were very happy to have our room cleaned every day by ah-Bee, a lovely lady who we were able to converse with from our broken Cantonese and her passable English. She was constantly cleaning things - if not in the room then in the corridors. We had zero noise from other rooms so we were able to relax while there. The excellent wi-fi speed made it great for communicating with family in Europe on FaceTime. Being located in a massive shopping mall with an MTR link, there was everything we needed within a short walk. I'm sure we will stay there again on our next visit.

The cost of the breakfast (on booking.com) was ludicrous, and with numerous food outlets in the mall and other connected malls we never planned to eat breakfast in the hotel. However, we met with a client one morning for breakfast at the hotel, and if you are not a local or visiting from over the border then don't bother to pay for breakfast unless you plan to eat Chinese food as the western food is extremely limited and poorly presented. The one morning we were there was spoiled by screaming kids whose parents thought it lovely that their kids were making so much noise. The restaurant was chaotic and the only thing that tasted anything like it should have was the toast! The staff seemed bored, and who could blame them with people loading plates of food and then leaving most of it on the table after they had left... I'm amazed that a high quality hotel like this could fail on something as simple as breakfast, but sadly, they did. The swimming pool was quite nice but being indoor/outdoor would close when the thunderstorm warning was issued. The changing rooms were clean but almost devoid of signage, and the locker doors did not have any instructions of how to lock the door with the keypad.

Excellent location for shopping and very convenient for train travel. The staff are wonderfully polite, helpful, and always greeting guests with warm smiles.

The room was dirty, with a lot of dust on the cupboard, the kettles, and every corner especially the hidden spots. It looks like it hasn't been used in ages. I don't understand how the kettles and trays could be so dusty. To make matters worse, the breakfast restaurant is still using broken plates.
