This property is hidden away on a 100 acre marketplace and is an incredible gem! The couple that runs the hideaways are the most lovely inn keepers I have ever met while traveling. They were incredibly accommodating and kind leading up to and during our short stay. They met us in the large parking lot at the bottom of the “mountain” on a golf cart at nearly 10 pm to lead us up the hill to the adorable cottages. The whole area is so eclectic and quirky, and there is a massive flea market that opens a few days leading up to the first Monday of the month. Each of the rooms for rent here are designed in a classic literary or frontier theme. The details of each room were so special. Despite the cabin rooms being old and surrounded by woods, they are immaculately kept and cozy. They are pet friendly and our puppy loved exploring the gravel roads surrounding the cabins. This place was by far the coolest spur-of-the-moment stop we have taken in all our years of road-tripping.
