Wish the reading room light would have worked independent of light at the headboard.

Immediately got lots of information for check in, etc. Very nice big bathroom and shower, private toilet; bed was very comfortable, good pillows and comforter, room temp easy to manage, and liked that the window opened for ventilation, coffee service right outside the door. I really appreciated all the efforts for amenities, inside and out, lots of local information; and the gardens and pools were awesome. TV was big and we were able to get some decent channels. It has a lot of charm, with eclectic art and furniture.

It is a very special, historic place, so I wish I didn't have to complain; but it was noisy, has very poor insulation between rooms; had a family above us, stomping and dropping things until midnight then up at 6:00 with running feet; could hear people talking from nearby rooms; the earplugs next to the bed were a clue this is a known problem. So just be aware. The Booking.com site said our room had a garden view, but the only window was in the bathroom, overlooking the parking area, I assume they have similar rooms, some with a view but ours did not, not sure what happened. It was still a pleasant stay...

No drawers or good places to put clothes , only a few hangers No working place around the sink - simple shelf above sink was slanted down and items fell off Little hot water in morning and afternoon
