We always enjoy staying at Carcoola it's a great house in a convenient location.
We always enjoy staying at Carcoola however this time a few things were not consistent with our previous visits. I will make contact on this issue with the owner.

The perfect home away from home for Christmas with my adult children and partners.
A lovely piece of Blackheath history; with contemporary creature comforts for a very relaxing stay.

Spacious. Lots of amenities and generous host with provision of coffee pods / laundry detergent etc.
Michelle (property manager) was exceedingly helpful both prior to and after we left. We left behind some clothing and she helpfully sent them in the post which was appreciated
The place could have been cleaner - it felt a bit dusty. The property felt much darker than the photos

Firstly sterile with nothing to say welcome. Secondly regimented and first place anywhere in the world we have been instructed to take waste/recycling bins to kerbside for collection. Thirdly the instruction to wash dry then replace kitchen items into cupboard. After this kitchen surfaces to be wiped down All this prior to leaving. .Garden unkept and not warm welcoming stay.Made us feel like cash cows.
