Our host Elsa met us in person and was very friendly and helpful about the area and things to do. The accommodation was very comfortable and in a very quiet location. We were only 20 minute walk away from the centre of Troyes. We also had the bonus of having a garden area.
We knew in advance about the spiral staircase in advance but as seniors with arthritis we managed it fine.

When we arrived initially we hadn't had any communication from the hosts and so were unable to get into the property. When an email had eventually came through it was fine but we had had to go away and come back again.
The hosts should really either text or email first thing on the morning of arrival
It was a long way out of Troyes and they had said it was near the centre.
