Kruger Park Hostel

This was a very pleasant place to stay on our way from the airport to kruger. Nice cool garden and spacious bedrooms. Meals are home prepared and freshly cooked and shared with other guests, plenty for all. This hostel has a very friendly vibe, my 82 year old mum who was with us, was made to feel welcome too. Really friendly host.

The local Spar shop did not have much in the way of supplies for our trip into kruger. Its a bit far from the airport and kruger but such lovely people and relaxing setting.

Very nice people, extremely well organized, game rides arranged with great guides, but best of all, it is geared toward solo travellers, with the option to have our own accommodation if we so desire. Internet works great, fun place., great owners.

Loved our stay at Kruger Park Hostel, friendliest staff ever, so accommodating. I actually spent my birthday here and they made a big fuss, they made me a cake and we sang and danced to karaoke all night! One night they took us to watch the sunset in a 4x4 which was cool. We used the free bikes to explore the area, go early morning or late afternoon if you want to see animals! Meals on an evening were nice and breakfast had a wide continental selection. We also took part in the 2 night camping safari which the hostel run - it was great and we saw a lot of animals, however if I’m totally honest I think next time I’d just stay at the hostel and do a couple of game drives. This way you’re in an open vehicle which feels more intimate and it works out cheaper. The camping was a great experience but this is just my personal preference!

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Excellent safari organization, excellent breakfasts, and incredible dinners together every day. Place and area around are beautiful!
