They had two cats and let them inside the house, it wasn't announced in their site and my partner has cat allergy and he spent two terrible nights because of it.

The location was convenient to the general store and the bonus was we took home some bottles of delicious mead

This is a room in a homestay. Very cute decor and comfortable furnishings. Martin and his wife were excellent hosts and we loved the beautiful setting in the Hunter Valley. There is a lounge area with sofa and TV, dining table, access to fridge/kettle/microwave in the kitchenette, and a nice bathroom with shower and separate tub. We had our toddler with us and they were super accommodating and friendly to her, she loved seeing horses right next door. Martin did a mead tasting with my partner but I don't drink, so I can't speak to that experience. Nice tasting room though! Plus lots of honey. Yum.

This room is downstairs of the owner's home, it is semi-private but not separate from the owners living quarters. There aren't many food options in Broke, so plan ahead!

Lovely stay, great room and loved waking up to the rooster outside 🙂

Pillows were a tad hard but otherwise bedroom was lovely
