We had a great time

We had a great time at this home, check in was simple, home was super clean with a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The construction of the home is unique, and the layout was absolutely perfect for our two families. The kids loved the game room and the pool and are already asking when they can visit again. Host was very kind and responsive to all inquiries. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

In the heart of the Anza Borrego plain, this sprawling estate more than delivered just the experience I was looking for while traveling with my daughter and meeting up with my parents. This home is easy to find and is close to town and the wildflowers. The two master bedrooms provided ample, private accommodations for all while the central living and dining area accommodated us well when together. The many outdoor areas were my favorite, whether listening to the many local songbirds, watching the occasional Jack rabbit or coyote run by or soaking in the hot tub under the stars. The inside is beautifully decorated well stocked, and very cozy. A few practical items were tricky, like figuring out how to work the tv and the fancy stove but Terrie was responsive, helpful and accommodating and insured that we had a fabulous stay. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and private visit to the desert.

Wonderful property near downtown and state park but off main highway. Great home with reverse layout and uniquely constructed of rammed earth. Pool, spa, and game room are a great addition after hiking.

This home was an ideal location for exploring all that Borrego Springs has to offer! Spend your days hiking the canyons, photographing desert blooms, or riding your bike over the many mountain passes within a few mile radius. In the evenings return to relax in the heated outdoor spa with a pristine view of the night sky in this Dark Sky community. Perfection!

The Verbena Desert house is a perfect destination for your visit to Borrego Springs. It is located very close to town. You have magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We went in the winter, so the swimming pool was cold, but we used the hot tub every night and enjoyed star gazing. We also enjoyed the ping pong table in the game room. The kitchen is setup for cooking but bring your own oil, butter, etc. There are herbs, spices, salt and pepper. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book this house again. Enjoy!
