Quiet, nice beds

House full of big spiders- in every room Spiders outside the house The sofa had a duvet that looked old and underneath it was dust and not clean

Location was very quiet and peaceful - set in some trees and away from traffic. Well placed to explore Woodbridge, with Aldeburgh, Orford and Southwold in the area.

it was a little remote so it was necessary to drive everywhere and when we visited there were lots of road diversions in place - not the fault of the hosts obviously

Location

Check in time quite late and check out early

Great location as a base for visiting the surrounding area. We chose Framlingham and Woodbridge. The lodge itself is situated across from private woodland, which you can walk around, so perfect for walking the dog. This makes for a very relaxing break, listening to the sounds of nature. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen facilities were great for eating in. The stroll to the pub via a footpath was perfect, so we didn't need to walk down the road. There was a patio table and three chairs outside, which we used every day for eating at. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. A hot tub has since been installed.
