We enjoyed the stay at 2befair. Really enjoyed the backyard accommodations with lighting and fire pit. Unfortunately the downstairs tv didn’t work. Construction next door all week was somewhat of a downside. I hate that this property will be losing the privacy from no side neighbors. That was really a plus at night when construction workers went home. It was our first stay on oak island. This property is great if you want to be a little away from shore, but still walkable distance. I think we will be looking to stay closer to the beach on our next visit to oak island, and I will look through itrip properties next time as well.

2 Be Fair is a beautiful house. It’s beautifully decorated in gorgeous beach colors. You can tell right away it’s well cared for. The house was spotless, so clean! We were very happy about that! The kitchen is well equipped if you want to eat in. Something to note, however, there is a big shortage of teaspoons, lots of soup and tablespoons, but only two teaspoons and one looked like a baby spoon, not a big deal. Other than that we had everything we needed. There was a welcome bag with starter items that includdd a bag of snacks and my husband appreciated that. There is a binder with lots of information too. The walk to the beach is a very pleasant 10 minute walk. Restaurants are a short drive away. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and will return.

we very much enjoyed staying at 2 be Fair. The host was responsive and helpful and the house was terrific. Only 10 minute walk to the beach.

Hi,The property location was convenient. The house was nice however not the cleanest and some items were broken. The screen door on the lower level came off the hinge and hardware was missing on a cabinet (not the biggest deal since we did not use that one) but seems like the property is not properly checked upon people coming and going. We noticed a stale smell upon arriving and it continued to get worse. My husband checked the air filter in the ceiling and noticed it was black with dirt/dust. It does not look like it was ever changed. We did replace both air filters since we found replacements in the laundry room. The house overall looked clean from a distance however it was extremely dusty on all the baseboards, there was hair left in the master shower near the drain. The outside area was covered in cobwebs and the deck areas to sit outside were very dirty. We had to wipe everything down before using it. The house could use a good powerwash on the outside especially if this is advertised as an enjoyable area to use. In which it would be if it was properly cared for. We bought our own cleaning supplies and swiffered/cleaned.It also stated in the description the beach was a 9 minute walk however we were unable to find a way to walk to the beach from the property. We drove to the beach each time which was about 10 minutes. If there is a way to access the beach walking there should be a small screen shot of a map in the welcome book as to how to get there.
