We had a great experience overall at Salty Dog. The house is beautifully decorated, well located, comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We had several maintenance items in the first few days, but Wendy Wilmot Properties took care of most of them promptly. During our stay, the oven did not work but they brought us a toaster oven halfway through, which was a good substitute. The smart TV never worked during our stay. The patio table and chairs are broken or warped and could use maintenance or replacement. The house was not clean at checkin and we had to wait outside on the front porch in the heat with fresh groceries for a full hour to wait for the house to be cleaned (no remuneration was offered for this inconvenience or loss of paid time).

We love the design and decor at Salty Dog, plus they have two great Ike’s, beach towels and lots of hooks to hang your towels. We have rented this home many times over the years and will be back to stay next year. Wendy’s properties are always very well maintained and her team is top in customer service.

Nice venue. Across street and short walk to beach. House is not maintained to high standards. A/C in loft inoperable and not maintained. Many windows have sealed broken with substantial condensation. Golf carts are very old and tires in substandard condition. Rooms and linens in good condition. Need to invest in upkeep. WWP did an outstanding job communicating BHI ferry schedules, check in, responding to problems (Adam on site immediately) and making sure stay was comfortable.
