This is a small but very cosy cottage in the small village of Baconsthorpe, which means it's far from the maddening crowds yet only 3.5mls from Holt and easy access to the coast. The only area I have marked down is local amenities for the village as there are non ie no shop, a pub etc. There are only 2 things I would advise future renters about. These are firstly if arriving during very cold weather the cottage is initially very cold as thermostat set at 6 degrees until you alter it, however with the efficient combi boiler the radiators soon warm up and the cottage begins to feel better after 30 - 45mins. Secondly the stairs upstairs are the steepest I have ever experienced so you need to have good mobility and be reasonably fit. The bathroom is on the 1st floor.Other benefit is that the cottage is very well equipped.
